About us

Owners: Bjarne & Susan Schøler

Bjarne Schøler, the owner of Danish Delight Bakery, was raised in  Thorsager, Denmark where he followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, who was also a baker. After attending baking school and completing a four-year-long baking and confectionary apprenticeship, he moved to the greater Atlanta area in 1971, where he has been ever since. BJ, as most people call him, married Susan in 1981. Susan, now retired from teaching gifted elementary students, gives a helping hand where needed.
